Welcome to Antoinette Rand’s page!

To effectively promote and educate the public on horses and horse competitions, Antoinette Rand participates in several important equine organizations throughout the southern United States. One of the influential affiliations Antoinette Rand holds membership in is the Arkansas Thoroughbred Breeders’ & Horsemen’s Association (ATBHA). ATBHA began in 1961 as a state-based breed registry and has since become the official registry for all Registered Arkansas-bred Thoroughbreds. These certifications allow Registered Arkansas-bred Thoroughbreds to run in restricted, breed-specific races. ATBHA runs several of these competitions, including four in-state races and two out-of-state races. Through her membership with the organization, Antoinette Rand supports ATBHA’s distribution of Purse and Awards Funds; these awards are given to owners, breeders, and stallion owners, in recognition of their commitment to the Arkansas-bred program. Antoinette Rand also belongs to other prominent equine organizations, including the National Reining Breeders Classic (NRBC). NRBC is a world-class competition and showcase for four- to six-year-old reining horses, promoting a sport that specializes in agility and communication between horse and rider. NRBC has paid out more than $10 million in awards since its 1998 inauguration, and it stands apart from other major horse competitions by focusing on fun and congeniality. Antoinette Rand shares with NRBC the ultimate goal of turning reining into the only Western equestrian event in the Olympics.
